MPT (SPORTS) STUDENT WORKED AS SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPIST IN HERO NATIONAL BEACH SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP

MPT (Sport) student Mr. Vishal N. Amin worked as a team physiotherapist of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu (DNH & DD) in Hero National Beach Soccer Championship (Senior Division) organised at Dumas Beach, Surat from 20th January 2023 to 1st February 2023. This championship was organized by All India Football Federation (AIFF). Mr. Vishal Amin was appointed as an official team physiotherapist where he was given the responsibility for pre-competition fitness assessment of players and to plan an injury prevention program. During the tournament he worked on-field where he treated various injuries such as ankle sprain, contusion, hamstrings muscle strain, knee injuries, etc. His service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the football association of DNH & DD. Mr.Vishal had really a nice on-field exposure. We are very much thankful to DNH & DD football association for giving our student this opportunity.

MPT STUDENTS PROVIDED ON-FIELD PHYSIOTHERAPY IN 4th EDITION OF DECCAN ULTRA

4th edition of Deccan Ultra was held at Kalsubai, Sahyadri, Maharastra between 25-27 March, 2023. Students of Shrimad Rajchandra College of physiotherapy had volunteered as physiotherapists. The trail race consists of 13 km, 30 km and 55 km. Students had a great learning experience to work at challenging situation. Our student volunteers gave physiotherapy treatment to prevent post running muscle soreness in terms of stretching of major group of muscles. On field physiotherapy were given for acute running specific injuries. It was tremendously stimulating as well as entirely a different experience for the students. Athletes from all over the world had participated in the race. SRCP is heartily thankful to Mr.Sandeep Kumar for giving such an opportunity to our students. Student's hard work was appreciated by the organizers, sponsors and the athletes.

Amin worked as a team physiotherapist of Silvassa United Football Club (SUFC) in U-17 Hero I-League held at Deccan Arena, Hyderabad from 15th December 2022 to 4th January 2023. The league was organized by All India Football Federation (AIFF). Mr. Vishal Amin was appointed as an official team physiotherapist where he was given the responsibility for pre-competition fitness assessment of players and to plan an injury prevention program. During the tournament he worked on-field where he treated various injuries such as quadriceps muscle strain, contusion, hamstrings muscle strain, knee injuries, etc.His service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the Silvassa United Football Club Management. Mr.Vishal had really a nice on-field exposure. We are very much thankful to SUFC for giving our student this opportunity.

MPT (SPORTS) STUDENTS WORKED AS SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPISTS IN 4 th INTER-CLUB & 1 st INTER-SCHOOL TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP, SURAT

Shrimad Rajchandra College of Physiotherapy (SRCP), a constituent institute of UKA Tarsadia University posted MPT (Sports) students in 4 th Interclub & 1 st Interschool Taekwondo Championship held at Surat on 28 th & 29 th December, 2022. The championship organized by Warrior Taekwondo Academy, Surat. Three MPT (Sports) students were appointed as sports physiotherapists for this championship where they provided first-aid management for injuries such as nose bleed, mouth bleed, acute knee injuries, acute foot injuries, etc. Our service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the organizers of the championship. Students had really a nice on-field exposure. We are very much thankful to Mr. Pamir Shah (Founder, Warrior Taekwondo Academy) & Dr. Anmol Jogani (PT) for giving us this opportunity.

MPT STUDENTWORKED AS SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPIST IN GUJARAT STATE YOUTH (U-16) BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP, BHAVNAGAR

MPT studentMr. Dhaval H Pawar worked as a team physiotherapist of Surat District U-16 Basketball Team (Boys & Girls) in Gujarat State Youth (Under-16) Basketball Championship which was held at Bhavnagar, Gujaratfrom 9th December to 11th December 2022.The championship was jointly organized by Youngster Basketball Club & Bhavnagar District Basketball Association. Mr. Dhaval Pawar was appointed as an official team physiotherapist of Surat District Basketball team where he was given the responsibility for pre-competition fitness assessment of players, to plan an injury prevention program. During the tournament he worked on-field where he treated various injuries such as ankle sprain, knee injuries, finger injuries, etc.His service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the Surat District Basketball Association (SDBA). Mr. Dhavalhad really a nice on-field exposure. We are very much thankful to SDBA for giving our student this opportunity.

The league was organized by Daman & Diu Football Association. During the tournament he worked on-field where he treated various injuries such as quadriceps muscle strain, contusion, hamstrings muscle strain, knee injuries, etc.His service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the Silvassa United Football Club Management. Report on Physiotherapy Camp on “WORLD PHYSIOTHERAPY DAY”

On the occasion of The World Physiotherapy Day Shrimad Rajchandra College of Physiotherapy, UkaTarsadia University, Bardoli has organized a free Physiotherapy Camp on 10th September 2022. 51 patients suffering from knee pain, back pain, cerebral palsy, physical deformity, plantar fasciitis, and cardio respiratory problem were evaluated and guided for treatment. 3 faculty members and 14 students from college enthusiastically participated to make this camp successful.

Medical Diagnostic Camp at Kalidas Hospital (Vyara) Date: 6th August, 2022

Medical Diagnostic Camp at Kalidas Hospital (Vyara) jointly organised by IMA (Vyara), Kalidas Hospital and HMAI (Vyara).Students of SRCP provided service in this medical camp with tremendous enthusiam. Students were given the opportunity to understand placement of ECG electrodes, blood glucose measurement and monitoring of blood pressure.5th semester students participated and learned assessment of the patient. Dr. Mahesh Shukla (Physician) & our students examined more than 70 people in the camp.We are Thankful to Dr.Mahesh Shukla, IMA (Vyara) for giving our students an opportunity to serve the society.

MPT (SPORTS) STUDENTS PROVIDED SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPY IN GUJARAT STATE U-23 MEN & WOMEN WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP, AHMEDABAD

Shrimad Rajchandra College of Physiotherapy posted MPT (Sports) students in Gujarat State U-23 Men & Women Wrestling Championship held at EKA Arena, Kankaria, Ahmedabad on 6th& 7th August, 2022.The championshipwas organized by Gujarat State Wrestling Association. Two MPT (Sports) students were appointed as sports physiotherapists. During the competition more than twenty-five players were treated by our MPT students for different injuries such as finger injuries, rotator cuff strain, knee injury, wrist injury, facial injury,etc. Our service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the organizers of the competition. Students had really a nice on-field exposure.We are very much thankful to Mr.Mayank Chakraborty & Transstadia for giving us this opportunity.

Two MPT (Sports) students were appointed as sports physiotherapists for this event where they provided first-aid management for injuries such as shoulder injury, nose bleed, mouth bleed and physiotherapy treatment for various traumatic injuries. Our service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the organizers of the tournament. Students had really a nice on-field exposure. We are very much thankful to Mr.Mayank Chakraborty & Transstadia for giving us this opportunity.

Ms.Swetal provided first-aid management for injuries such as nose bleed, mouth bleed, acute knee injuries, acute foot injuries, etc. Our service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the organizers of the competition. Students had really a nice on-field exposure. MPT (SPORTS) STUDENTS AT Sir H.N.RELIANCE FOUNDATION HOSPITAL, MUMBAI

Shrimad Rajchandra College of physiotherapyposted 4 MPT (Sports) students at Department of Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation of Sir H.N.Reliance Foundation Hospital for the duration of one month from23/06/2022 to 20/07/2022. During this out-posting students were given an opportunity to learn and improve their diagnostic, rehabilitation and communication skills while dealing with various sports injuries. Apart from this, students were also get to know about the functioning of Aqua Treadmill, Isokinetic Dynamometer, Gait Analyzer, etc. which can be used for rehabilitation purpose. Advanced physiotherapeutic techniques such as myofascial release, sports fitness assessment, strength & conditioning were also taught.Hospital management and staff of Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Department appreciated the efforts and interest which our students put throughout this one month.We are thankful to the management of Sir H.N.Reliance Hospital and staff of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation department for providing best of their knowledge to our students.Students had really a nice clinical and practical exposure.
