Shrimad Rajchandra College of physiotherapy, a constituent institute of UKA Tarsadia University provided physiotherapy service in Road Cycling Championship on 9th June, 2019. The tournament organized by the Cycling Association of Surat District. Students provided physiotherapy service in elite, junior, sub-junior and senior citizen category. Injuries treated were back muscle spasm, IT band tightness and lateral knee pain. Dr. Bhavik Jhaveri and his team was honored with the memento as a token of appreciation. Our service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the organizers of the tournament.
Shrimad Rajchandra College of physiotherapy, a constituent institute of UKA Tarsadia University posted 4 MPT (Sports) students at women's U-23 one day cricket tournamentwhich was organized by Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in Surat from 19th March to 5th April, 2019. All 4 students were the part of para-medical team as a sports physiotherapist in which they were given the responsibility to treat various injuries during and after the match. Students were also given the opportunity to deal with certain on-field emergencies. Students put their best efforts throughout the tournament. Rehabilitation techniques used by our students were sports taping, mulligan technique, myofascial release etc. All the students were appreciated by the staff of various state level teams as well as management staff of Surat District Cricket Association (SDCA). Students were honored with the appreciation certificate by SDCA on behalf of BCCI. Students had really a memorable and learning on-field exposure.
Shrimad Rajchandra College of physiotherapy, a constituent institute of UKA Tarsadia University posted 4 MPT (Sports) students at Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG) from 4th-16thMarch, 2019. All the students were guided by the senior coach, appointed physiotherapists of SAG and conditioning coach in order to provide best knowledge about fitness assessment, conditioning program and rehabilitation strategies for various sports. Advanced physiotherapeutic techniques such as myofascial release, kinetic chain assessment, strength conditioning were taught. Students were also came to know about on-spot emergency injury management, transfer of a player and planning of injury prevention.Senior coach, support staff appreciated the efforts and interest which our students put throughout this 2 weeks. Students had really a nice on-field exposure.
Shrimad Rajchandra College of Physiotherapy volunteered at Bardoli Marathon "Run for Safe Life" held on 17th February, 2019 whose starting and ending point was at Swaraj Ashram, Bardoli. This was the first marathon in Bardoli organized under the banner of Surat Traffic Police who apprecited our service to the community. It was a 5km, 10km and 21 km run. Our team treated various musculoskeletal problems and injuries incorporated by the runners during the marathon. More than 500 runners took benefit of this physiotherapy service provided.4 faculties and 50 students enthusiastically volunteered as physiotherapists for this event. The event was co-ordinated by Dr.Snehal Patel.
Shrimad Rajchandra College of physiotherapy has organized camp in Shree Modhghanchipanchvadi, Navsarion 27/12/2018. In this camp 22 Patients suffering from various conditions as osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, spondylosis, joint pains, paralysis, Bells palsy, tennis elbow, burns, geriatric, & other gynecological problems, deformities, cardio respiratory problems etc were evaluated and guided for proper treatment. The camp was enthusiastically organized by the university trust, in which one physiotherapy college staff and 33 students participated.
14 students and 1 faculty of Shrimad Rajchandra College of physiotherapy, a constituent institute of UKA Tarsadia University, had participated as volunteer physiotherapists in this marathon, where they had treated many marathon runners who had problems during and after running. The "amrutWRUN" marathon was flagged off from the Decathlon, Dumas Road Surat. "THINK FOR YOURSELF" and "RUN FOR YOURSELF" was the slogan of the marathon. It's really a very proud moment for the SRCP students and faculty to treat runners and do social work.

In this camp 22 Patients suffering from various conditions as osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, spondylosis, joint pains, paralysis, Bells palsy, tennis elbow, burns, geriatric, & other gynecological problems, deformities, cardio respiratory problems etc were evaluated and guided for proper treatment. The camp was enthusiastically organized by the university trust, in which 1 physiotherapy staff and 36 students participated.

In this camp 43 Patients suffering from various conditions as osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, spondylosis, joint pains, paralysis, Bells palsy, tennis elbow, burns, geriatric, & other gynecological problems, deformities, cardio respiratory problems etc were evaluated and guided for proper treatment. The camp was enthusiastically organized by the university trust, in which 1 physiotherapy college staff and 30 students participated.
Shrimad Rajchandra College of physiotherapy, a constituent institute of UKA Tarsadia University posted MPT (Sports) students in "Talent Identification Camp" on 27th November-2018. The camp was organized by Tapi District Sports Coaching Centre in affiliation with Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG). 4 MPT (Sports) students provided physiotherapy service in this camp. Talent identification was done on the basis of player's agility, power, strength and flexibility by making them to play various sports such as kabaddi, athletics & volleyball. About 35 players were treated by our MPT students during the camp. Our service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the organizers of the tournament. Students had really a nice exposure in terms of on-field clinical practice and fitness assessment.
ShrimadRajchandra College Physiotherapy, a constituent institute of UKA Tarsadia University had been a part of Free Screening camp of Diabetes and Hypertensive patients at Jan Seva Kendra, Bardoli. The camp was organised by the faculties of Pharm D on 26th October 2018. In this camp, 13 patients were screened, advised and treated for their conditions. Patients were evaluated and guided by two of the staff members- Dr. Niyati Desai , Dr.Snehal Patel and Dr. Jinal Patel. The active participation was done by one of the PG student, Dr. Priyanka Multani.
Shrimad Rajchandra College of physiotherapy, a constituent institute of UKA Tarsadia University posted MPT (Sports) students in Khel-Mahakumbh-2018 from 6th-9th October, 2018. The tournament organized by the Surat District Sports Association which was an Inter-District tournament. 4 MPT (Sports) students provided physiotherapy service in sports such as kabaddi, athletics & volleyball for various Men's & Women's category. About 50 players were treated by our MPT students during the tournament. Our service was highly appreciated by the players as well as by the organizers of the tournament. Students had really a nice on-field exposure.
ShrimadRajchandra college physiotherapy, had organized a free physiotherapy camp and social activity, Awareness on Health care on 29th September 2018, Saturday, at Bhavani Temple, Vakaner Village. In this camp 30 patients suffering from various conditions as osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis, paralysis, Bells palsy, tennis elbow, burns, geriatric, gynecological problems, & other cardio respiratory problems etc were evaluated and guided for proper treatment. The camp was enthusiastically organized by the university trust, in which 2-physiotherapy college staff and 25 students participated.
On occasion of World physiotherapy Day, ShrimadRajchandra College of Physiotherapy has organized camp in Primary school of Bhatlav Village on 8/9/2018. In this camp 35 Patients suffering from various conditions as osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, spondylosis, joint pains, paralysis, Bells palsy, tennis elbow, burns, geriatric, & other gynecological problems, deformities, cardio respiratory problems etc were evaluated and guided for proper treatment. The camp was enthusiastically organized by the university trust, in which 2 physiotherapy college staff and 25 students were participated.
Shrimad Rajchandra college physiotherapy, had organized a free physiotherapy camp on 11th August 2018, Saturday, at Nava faliya Junikikwad Village. In this camp 29 Patients suffering from various conditions as osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis, joint pains, paralysis, Bells palsy, tennis elbow, burns, deformities & other gynecological problems were evaluated and guided for proper treatment. The camp was enthusiastically organized by the university trust, in which 3-physiotherapy college staff and 16 students participated.
Shrimad Rajchandra college physiotherapy, a constituent institute of UKA Tarsadia University had organized a free physiotherapy camp on 30th June 2018, at Valod Village. In this camp total 38 patients suffering from various musculoskeletal, neurological disorders and cardio-respiratory problem were evaluated and guided related to their condition as well as prevention of disorder. All were given reference to SRCP OPD for further treatment. The purpose of the camp was to provide physiotherapy treatment at doorstep of village community and thus to serve community People. For this noble purpose, 2 faculty members and 16 students of SRCP College had participated enthusiastically in the camp.
