Physiotherapy is a branch of medical sciences. Physiotherapy is a professional health care discipline that works closely with physicians and other health care professionals. It is a health profession concerned with the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disease and disability through physical means. Physiotherapists use a range of physical, hands-on techniques. As well as manual treatment they will also advise you on changes to lifestyle and ways you can reduce further muscle and joint problems with exercise programs and methods to cope with chronic conditions.
A degree in physiotherapy can lead to a rewarding career working with people of all ages. You will be able to help your clients achieve the highest possible degree of physical activity, participation and quality of life. Develop the knowledge and skills to formulate physiotherapeutic diagnosis and design appropriate programs of prevention, treatment and exercise. Studies in science, clinical experience and skills in problem solving and decision making will prepare you for employment in a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals, rehabilitation and community health centres, private practice, industrial clinics and specialist facilities. You may also work in education and research.
BPT is 4.5 years degree course including 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship in it.

Institute contains collection of approx. 2623 books. It also contains collection of National & International Journals & CDs also. Library is maintained by computerized SOUL software. Book bank as well as internet facility for the staff & students is also available.

Clinical training is given during your study period in Sardar Smarak Hospital, Bardoli, BAPS Pramukhswami Hospital, Surat, Life Line Hospital, Surat, Global Sunshine Hospital, Surat and OPD's which are run by Shrimad Rajchandra College of Physiotherapy i.e. SRCP OPD, Maliba Campus, SRCP OPD at Sardar Smarak Hospital, Bardoli, and SRCP OPD at Ramji Mandir, Bardoli.
Higher education scope after your B.P.T, M.P.T with elective subjects like Cardiopulmonary, Neurological science, Musculoskeletal, Sports, paediatrics, rehabilitation, etc. with your desired choice, you can select and study. You can also pursue Ph.D.
