The Institute offers both graduate (B. Sc.) and post graduate (M. Sc.) programs. It offers B.Sc Chemistry, B.Sc. (Hon.) Chemistry, M.Sc. program in Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry.

South Gujarat region has Asia's biggest industrial chemical zone at Ankleswar and Vapi, so plenty of opportunities are there in such chemical industries., viz. in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Research & Development, Production departments of these industries, above all also in Government & Private Research laboratories. Similarly, one can also proceed further for higher studies viz. Ph.D.
Chemical sector of India is one of the major industries in the Indian economy. It is estimated to be worth around US$ 35 billion, which is almost 3% of the country's GDP. The investment in chemical sector of India is around US$ 60 billion. The chemical sector generates employment of about 1 million. The chemical sector of India provides around 13-14% of total exports and its total imports are about 8-9%. It is ranked 12th globally and 3rd in Asia. The emergence of chemiinformatics and nanotechnology leads to very bright future of the chemical science.

Institute has highly qualified and experienced staff having experience in diversifying subjects. Institute teaching faculty strength is 15 out of which 14 Faculties are having Ph.D degree and 7 faculties are postdoctorates. Our curriculum is designed in such a way that, from the 1st semester of M.Sc onwards every student has to conduct project. In the final semester they have to undergo for dissertation. We encourage and train M. Sc students to write review articles and research papers.
