SRCP OPD at Sardar Smarak, Bardoli

UkaTarsadia University launched a new Physiotherapy Clinic on 7th November, 2014 at SardarSmarak hospital, Bardoli with an objective to serve the community. Shri Bhuladada and family have generously contributed to the cause.

The Department is equipped with state-of-art therapeutic modalities; it has patient-centric layout and dedicated area to provide best possible care with great safety and efficiency. The therapists render free services to patients with sports injury, spinal injury, stroke, and various other orthopaedic and neurological conditions. Bronchial asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis and bypass patients come to learn breathing exercises and get advised about lifestyle modifications to stay fit and healthy.

Modalities available in the OPD are Interferential Therapy, Ultrasonic Therapy, Neuromuscular Stimulation, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, Cryotherapy System, Short Wave Therapy, Moist Heat Therapy, Multi Exercise Station, Strength Training Stations, Static Cycle, Therapeutic Treadmill, etc.

Almost all indoor patients of the hospital are offered post-operative treatment for at least 3-4 days and rehab for non-operated cases up to discharge. All patients are counselled regarding "Dos" and "Don'ts", home care and continuation of treatment to maintain good health.

The department of Physiotherapy offers services from 9 am-1 pm and 3pm to 6pm for outdoor patients.
