Procedure for Admission

• 75% of the sanctioned strength of the B.Arch. Programme will be filled up by Admission Committee for Professional Courses for Architecture (ACPC-Architecture), as per the eligibility criteria decided by Council of Architecture & Gujarat State Government, on the basis of merit. Clearance of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is required.
• 25% of the sanctioned strength of Management/NRI quota will be filled up as per the eligibility criteria decided by Council of Architecture & Gujarat State Government and procedure laid down by ACPC-Architecture, on the basis of merit.
• Admissions for Architecture course is administered by joint Admission Committee for Professional Courses, L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad. http://www.jacpcldce.ac.in/Archi.asp

Course Details

Eligibility Criteria

No candidate, with less than 50% marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/ she has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as subjects of examination at the 10+2 level.

or

10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/ State Governments with 50% aggregate marks

or

International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination

and

Minimum 40% (80 marks out of 200) in the All Indian National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA)

Weightage

The following shall be the weightage:

NATA TEST:	50%
QUALIFYING EXAMINATION (10+2 OR 10+3 Diploma recognized by the Central/State Governments OR IB Diploma)	50%

The duration of the course shall be Full-time Five years. Each academic year shall be divided into two semesters.
