About Department

Department of Electrical Engineering was established in the year 2015. Diploma in Electrical Engineering is a three-year programme where the students are taught about the application of electromagnetism, electronics, and electricity.

It is a part of the Engineering field of study. A wide range of topics is taught to the students pursuing a diploma in electrical engineering such as signal processing, control systems, electronics, and power. Today the market is beaming with opportunities for an electrical engineer, as electricity has become an indispensable part of human lives.

Role of (Departmental) Engineer

• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components and applications by designing and conducting research programs.
• Confirm system’s and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods.
• Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements.
• Maintains product data base by writing computer programs.

Department best practices

Department of Electrical Engineering has set up best laboratory to perform the practical of various subject as per syllabus through which they applied their knowledge in different electrical engineering field.

The Electrical Engineering Department has encouraged students to pursue summer internships during the vacations and acquire necessary problem solving skills. Department regularly organize industrial visit to give them practical knowledge and also organize expert lecture.

Regular training & placement is imparted in the area of communication skill and aptitude to the students to make them employable. It is well integrated with a numbers of industries with the purpose of keeping students employed. Many of the students who have passed Diploma Electrical Engineering have got jobs in a different companies.

Department aims to deliver holistic experiences to students to ensure their success not only in academics & professional careers, but also in their overall life.
