Miss. Krupali Bhagvanbhai Dobariya (M.Sc. Physics Gold medallist - 2018-20), an Alumni Student of the Department of Physics, Uka Tarsadia University secured admission at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany in the course of Master of Science in Physics (Quantum Optics).

Miss. Jinal Prajapati, Student of Final Semester of M.Sc. Physics, Department of Physics, Uka Tarsadia University participated and gave oral presentation in "An Eco-friendly Approach to produce Silver Nano Particles" in the National Event "4 Minute Research Pitch" jointly organized by the Department of Chemistry, IIS, Jaipur & Govt. Madhav Science PG College, Ujjain during 15-16 April 2022. She received first prize for her Oral Presentation in the conference.

Congratulations to Ms. Yasvi Patel for Selection in Internship with Stipend at Linq Engineering Services, Surat

Miss. Yasvi Patel, Student of Final Semester of M.Sc. Physics, Department of Physics, Uka Tarsadia University selected for six month internship with stipend in the Linq Engineering Services, Surat. She has cleared the written and practical examination as per ASNT document SNT-TC-1A, 2006 in the Ultrasonic Technique, Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing and Radioactive Testing (NDT testing) methods. She achieved highest mark in the test and got this internship. Department of Physics heartily congratulate her for incredible achievement.

Mr. Vivek Jadav, Student of Integrated M.Sc. Physics Semester 6, Department of Physics, Uka Tarsadia University has cracked the JAM 2021 examinations for Physics subject. The exam was organized by Indian Institute of Science Bangalore.

Mr. Vinayak Mull (Student, Integrated M.Sc. Sem II, Department of Physics, UTU) and Mr. Pratik Chaudhary (Student, Integrated M.Sc. Sem IV, Department of Physics, UTU) participated in Competition on Physics Experiments (CPEx - 2018) organized at P T Science college, Surat by Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) on February 7, 2018. Mr. Vinayak Mull win second price in the south zone competition. Further, he participated in state level competition and secured second position.

Physics, Department of Physics, Uka Tarsadia University have participated and presented poster in the state level one day seminar on "Emerging Trends and Opportunities in Interdisciplinary Sciences (ETOIS-2017)" organized by Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar on February 3, 2017. Miss. Pooja Panicker, Miss. Aashi Naik and Miss. Khushboo Pal were won the 2nd prize for the poster presentation.

Mr. Pratik Chaudhari (Student, Integrated M.Sc. Sem II, Department of Physics, UTU) and Miss Ami Patel (Student, Integrated M.Sc. Sem IV, Department of Physics, UTU) win 1st Price in Competition on Physics Experiments (CPEx - 2017) organized at P T Science college, Surat by Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) on January 22, 2017. The student performed a real time experiment on "Determination of Young modulus of the wire with the help of optical system" with innovative idea. They also presented the same experiment in state level competition on the February 25, 2017.
