The department of Journalism and Mass Communicationcommenced in year 2019. Presently the department offers B.A. in Journalism and Mass communication. B.A. JMC program has been designed in a very diverse manner for dynamic development of students. The impetus being to maintain a balance between practical and theory subjects in each semester.
Journalism and Mass communication being practical subject we try to teach the concept in depth, and also how a student can implement theoretical knowledge into practical life i.e. we work on their multimedia skills, which will eventually help them in getting placed in different organizations like print media, television, radio, ad agency, corporate bodies, government PRO (Public Relation Officer) and private PRO, academics and many more. We focus on constructing positive attitude, develop professional skills and creative skills, we also make them technically sound professional.
