“There is nogreater disabilityin society, than the inability to see a world as more.”The Universal Welfare Trust of India, Bardoli was visited by BMIIT students. Trust is having students, those were mentallychallenged. As theysay “When God takes somethingfrom you he returns somethingdouble to you”. Theywere blessed with a welcomingnature, love and a carefree attitudewhich today manyof us are lacking.
Parents of many studentsleft them there; just because they were “mentally”challenged. The studentswere very talented. Many of them were the winners of “KHEL MAHAKUMBH”. Those students just want love and time. Theywere very excited to have their photos clicked.
Thestudents were very enthusiastic in playing games and gettingto know their visitors. Manygames were played bythem and BMIIT students. Also chocolates and clothes were distributed to them. On visiting, BMIIThave started collectingcharity and have decided to provide them uniforms as they required it very much.
The trust where those students were livingwas very good. Theywere disciplinedas well as were taken care of. Meetingthose studentswas an eye-opener. What’s happiness? What’s innocence? How to love people without being greedy? Those were the things that theytaught us. “We don’t believe they are mentally retarded. We don’t think they are different than us. Theymay walk, talk or move differentlythan us. But inside, theyaren’t. There’s nothingwrong withthem”
We are proud of our students .They are making our tagline “Make IT happens through innovations and values ” worth it.
